Chipping Norton COPPP28 – People, Planet, Pint: Sustainability Meetup
December 7 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
People, Planet, Pint has always been about bringing people together to share what is going on in the local community, and ultimately, give hope that things are indeed happening.
On the 7th of December, People Planet Pint is planning something special for our monthly sustainability meetup: a unified alternative COP28 event, with PPP’s all over the country at the same time, bringing together people to chat and learn about local projects and action they can get involved with or inspired by.
You’re invited to join us at the “Congress of the People Planet Pints”, or “COPPP28” in Chipping Norton.
PPP Chipping Norton is delighted to be welcoming a small number of local organisations to share the amazing things they’ve been doing during 2023 for the climate, environmental and social challenges we face in the area. Short presentations will be followed by a chance to chat and meet over a drink.
Anyone interested in sustainability-related issues is welcome to attend, both newcomers and familiar faces alike. So please join us in the beautiful Stable Room at the back of the Blue Boar in Goddard’s Lane. It’s free to attend – please register here so we know numbers – and you get a free drink too!
If you’re curious about climate and want to learn more about what you can do individually or through your work, join others at COPPP28 to find out more about what’s happening in your area and how you can get involved.
Started in Glasgow during COP26, this relaxed event brings together those with a shared passion for sustainability in all its forms.
Let’s see where the conversation, and night, takes us!
Find others who can collaborate and help you on your journey and have fun doing so!
Your Volunteer Host
Linda Aspey is an executive coach, facilitator, supervisor, therapist, and global faculty at Time to Think. She supports businesses large and small, and leaders and teams with their climate, environmental and societal challenges, bringing the latest social psychology and “Active Hope” for better communications, engagement and action. She runs various free climate cafes and workshops, and speaks and writes on climate psychology, leadership, mental health and social justice. Linda loves seeing how the growing number of businesses in and around Chipping Norton are doing amazing things to tackle the many challenges of our time, and how talking more openly about “climate change” is helping more and more people to make a real difference.
