  • In person at the Engine Shedplease RSVP ON EVENTBRITE, not here on meetup. We’re using Eventbrite this one time to manage our in-person capacity as we expect demand to be high. Eventbrite allows you to RSVP for free and join us for pizza, drinks and a spot of mingling before the event. Arrive from 6pm for a 6.30pm start. If you decide you can no longer make it, please ‘cancel’ your RSVP on Eventbrite to free up the ticket for someone else.
  • Or attend online by RSVPing here on meetup, and enjoy a welcoming and authentic Green Tech South West experience using CrowdCast. Join online from 6.20pm for a 6.30pm start. We’ll email the joining link ahead of the event and more details about what to expect.

Both sessions close at 8pm. For those in person we’ll move to a nearby pub for more networking.

ABOUT DALE
Dale Vince, nicknamed Labour’s Green Knight by The Sunday Times, is a green industrialist who has dedicated his life to championing environmental sustainability. Since founding the world’s first green energy company, Ecotricity, in 1996 he has been on a mission to change the face of the industry by moving away from fossil fuels towards renewables.

With sustainable thinking at the heart of all his ventures, Dale is helping to lead the eco revolution. He runs Forest Green Rovers, dubbed the world’s most sustainable football team by UEFA; creates diamonds out of atmospheric carbon; builds windmills for export around the world and has launched a range of vegan burgers.

In 2004, he was awarded an OBE from the Queen for services to the environment and was appointed the UN Ambassador for Climate Change in 2019. He also made the world’s first electric supercar and built the Electric Car Super Charging Highway.

His first book, Manifesto, unlocks the tools for changing the world and is an ode to being more eco-conscious, visionary and determined than ever.
