If you’re interested or curious about sustainability, come along to the People, Planet, Pastry event to meet like-minded business owners who are taking action on sustainability. Learn about what is going on locally, share insights on how to overcome barriers and make new friends!
This relaxed and informal event brings people together to learn more about sustainability and take action.
The sister event, People, Planet, Pint, brings people together to learn more and chat about climate, while our “Pastry” series is focused on empowering small businesses with the action they can take and where to start with sustainability.
While we will mostly be discussing businesses, this is an open event where anyone is welcome, so if you’re curious about what’s going on, come on down!
Your Volunteer Host
Nadine Smith is a founder and Creative Director of TSD (The Sustainable Designer), an experiential design agency with sustainability at its core. Experiential design (e.g. wayfinding, exhibitions and brand activation) sees physical projects realised in the built environment, and making sure these projects remain environmentally sustainable is the challenge that TSD strives to design for. A sustainable focus forms the beginning, middle and end of every project TSD takes on, from developing user strategies that reduce energy use through wayfinding projects to ensuring printed collateral is produced in a way that allows for best recovery of materials at the end of life.
TSD have recently expanded their offices outside of London to the North of England (Leeds) and are looking forward to meeting local sustainably-minded folk for a coffee and a chat.
