Using business as a force for good

More and more businesses are recognising that they need to benefit all stakeholders, not just shareholders and their bottom line.

Businesses who are have been awarded B Corp certification have been credited to have met rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.

We’ve teamed up with Richard Garner of the popular People, Planet and Pint community to discuss B Corp, what it is and why adopting B Corp values in your business will enhance engagement with all stakeholders.

We’ll also hear first-hand from Leicestershire businesses who have already been awarded B Corp status and their stories are sure to inspire businesses in how they can do better for their workers, community, customers and the environment.

This is a free event to attend and recommended for businesses of all sizes and sectors as well as company employees. Complimentary refreshments and canapes will be available.

People, Planet, Pint – COPPP28

People, Planet, Pint has always been about bringing people together to share what is going on in the local community, and ultimately, give hope that things are indeed happening.

We are planning a unified alternative COP28 event, with PPP’s all over the country at the same time, to give those who may be tired of the relentless news cycle somewhere to come and feel heard, and learn about local action they can get involved with.

You’re invited to join us at the “Congress of the People Planet Pints”, or “COPPP28”.

If you’re curious about climate and want to learn more about what you can do individually or through your work, join others at COPPP28 to find out more about what’s happening in your area and how you can get involved.
