Your local meetup is a great place to start your journey or continue learning, and meet diverse people to chat about life and how we can sustain it. Every job is a climate job, so come along and learn about how you can take action, as well as what is going on locally.

We welcome everyone, regardless of their experience or background. People Planet Pint is a space where everyone can feel comfortable learning about sustainability and sharing their ideas.

Afterall, creating a sustainable future requires connected communities. And what better way to bring everyone together than over a drink?

Your Volunteer Hosts

Kate Stansfield has been a freelance linguist for over 14 years, providing translation and other language services for a businesses and organisations across various sectors, from healthcare and nutrition to tourism and international development.

For the last 5 years, she has focused on working with clients who are working to build a better future for people and planet. She actively shares her knowledge of sustainable business practices with her fellow freelancers, running a monthly online climate action group and delivering nearly a dozen talks over the last few years.

Passionate about the power of community and collaboration, she also volunteers for Ryedale Environment Group, and two years ago established a village group with other Slingsby residents, supporting local biodiversity and raising awareness of how we can all play a part in tackling the climate and nature emergencies.
