Your local meetup is a great place to start your journey or continue learning, and meet diverse people to chat about life and how we can sustain it. Every job is a climate job, so come along and learn about how you can take action, as well as what is going on locally.

We welcome everyone, regardless of their experience or background. People Planet Pint is a space where everyone can feel comfortable learning about sustainability and sharing their ideas.

Afterall, creating a sustainable future requires connected communities. And what better way to bring everyone together than over a drink?

Prefer a Pastry to a Pint? Head along to ‘People Planet Pastry’! Equally relaxed and welcoming, they run during the day and offer an informal way to learn about what is going on locally in sustainability.

Georgia Strivens, Marketing Specialist

Georgia is a global marketing expert with a specialism in sustainability, events and digital innovation. She has worked for start-ups all the way through to major blue-chip organisations, including Salesforce, Oracle, RELX, Vonage and Delinian. Georgia has an entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for crafting ideas and strategies to inspire individuals and businesses to embrace sustainability. She believes that these endeavours cannot be achieved alone and it is unrealistic to expect ourselves to possess all the answers or attain perfection. Instead, she advocates for transparency, openness, and the courage to have candid conversations in a supportive environment where ideas can be shared, whilst having fun at the same time. Alex Greig, Founder, Fuggles Beer Café

Alex founded Fuggles Beer Café in Tunbridge Wells in 2013, driven by a vision to create a venue showcasing the finest British and European beers, as well as exceptional wines and spirits, in an atmosphere blending elements of a pub, Belgian-style cafe, and bar.

Since its inception, Alex has expanded with two additional establishments. His dedication to quality, community, and environmental responsibility has earned Fuggles Beer Cafe recognition in the Observer’s ‘Best Places to Drink’ guide and won the CAMRA’s Pub Of The Year competition.

Alex has implemented a dedicated sustainability policy, driving various initiatives to minimise Fuggles’ environmental footprint. From sourcing products from like-minded suppliers to implementing energy-efficient practices and waste reduction strategies, Alex is committed to creating eco-conscious hospitality and further integrating sustainability into every aspect of the business. Additionally, he leads a Sustainability Food and Beverage group in Tunbridge Wells as part of the local Amplifi programme, to help other businesses learn how to do the same.
