On 12th October PPP East London + City of London are collaborating to screen the National Emergency Briefing film (45mins), followed by a facilitated discussion afterwards

.The National Emergency Briefing, also known as the People’s Emergency Briefing, is the result of leading experts and concerned citizens joining forces to ensure UK decision-makers step up their response to the escalating climate and nature crisis.

will be screening a 45-minute edit of the briefing at Great Beyond Taproom and Brewery

Please arrive at the venue just before 18:00, plan to be seated by 18:20 as the briefing will shortly begin.

People Planet Pint is your local sustainability meetup - no pitches, no presentations, no panels.

Just like-minded people talking about the planet over a pint (or two).

You don't need to be a sustainability professional. You don't need to know what "Scope 3" means (most people don't!).

If you’re curious about what’s going on locally and feel that a better future is possible - come along to meet others like you and chat about what’s going on locally, how to get involved and what solutions are out there.

Come for conversations with real people - it’s a space to swap ideas, find opportunities, get things off your chest or just sit back and listen. You'll leave with practical ways to get involved and leave a lot more optimistic about the future!

I’m fascinated by how people and systems learn, adapt, and create better futures together. I’m always building something, drawn to big ideas & great people.

Asha Mistry
I work in strategic and political communications and care deeply about sustainability in all its forms. I’m motivated by creating meaningful impact and enjoy connecting ideas, people, and opportunities. My focus is on helping build communities that are inclusive, inspiring, and designed to last.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me exploring London’s food scene or heading to a gig with friends.

Hi! I'm Isabelle, a junior sustainability professional and entrepreneur, with interests in environmental management, circular economy and community organising. I'm passionate about impact-driven business and tackling the climate crisis. I wish to bring people together to be in community with like-minded individuals, share knowledge and be a catalyst for change.
